ERASMUS+ BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAM (BIP)
SUMMER UNIVERSITY 2026
The Program offers an immersive journey into the world of emerging digital technologies, guiding participants from fundamental concepts to real-world applications. Over two dynamic weeks, students will explore cutting-edge topics including Drone Technology and Image Processing, Software Engineering with Python and Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Prompt Engineering, as well as Virtual Reality. This summer university in basic informatics and IT applications can provide participants with a solid foundation and valuable experience in the rapidly evolving field of technology. The courses are designed to reflect international trends, ensuring that students are equipped with the knowledge and skills demanded by a globalized marketplace. Beyond the classroom, during the project week students will experience international academic life in a vibrant, multicultural environment while discovering Budapest, one of Europe’s most inspiring capitals. This program provides not only technical knowledge but also cross-cultural collaboration, networking opportunities, and unforgettable memories in the heart of Europe.

- Language: English (B2 level is required)
- Venue of the Project week: Campus of the Dennis Gabor University, Hungary (address: 1119 Budapest, Fejér Lipót u. 70.)
- Certificate: Upon successful completion participants receive 7 ECTS credits
- Course Assessment: contact period - fulfilment of the specified contact hours according to the Syllabus, based on lecturer’s evaluation; teamwork period - active participation in groups; finding and providing a solution for the proposed project.

- Contact your home university's International Office to inquire about the application period and selection criteria for this BIP.
- Apply for an Erasmus+ grant at your home university.
- Selected applicants will be notified by the end of April.
- Prepare for participation in the BIP
Financial Information:
- Participation in the BIP is free of charge only for the students and staff of the organizing universities (our BIP Partners concerning the programme are the Palacký University Olomouc and the Panevėžio kolegija). Applicants form our other Erasmus partners of DGU are welcome as self-funded applicants. Participation fee for non-BIP participants: 495 EUR / person. For participants with Erasmus mobility the travel costs and meals are covered by the Erasmus+ grant (travel support + daily grant for the project week).
