The project aims to improve the digital-technological and methodological development of higher education, and to provide a methodological framework for the effective embedding of digital education through research and the development of usable practices. In addition, it aims to identify and measure competences and changes in competences that are currently difficult to measure, especially in higher education, and to develop methodologies and digital frameworks and content that can be directly applied by institutions and that can be tailored to institutions to support effective competence development.

In order to ensure the effective coordination and implementation of activities, ELTE, as the consortium lead higher education institution, will establish and operate the Digital Learning Development Competence Centre, which will provide corporate partners with a state-of-the-art research platform to effectively implement their development objectives.

Gábor Dénes University has decades of experience and expertise in distance learning and e-learning.

The MODIKA (Modern Digital Knowledge Acquisition) project is implemented within the Digital Education Competence Centre. The project will also pay particular attention to the provision of individual learning pathways according to the needs of the individual.
